# Playing-card sound credits

`card-contact-1.wav` and `card-contact-2.wav` are `contact1.wav` and
`contact2.wav` from **Playing Card Sounds** by Brian MacIntosh (BMacZero),
released under CC0. Credit is optional and retained here for provenance.

`card-flip.wav` and `card-slap.wav` are the `draw.wav` and `playcard.wav`
files from **Card Game sounds** by HaelDB, released under CC0.

`counter.wav`, `lastStrike.wav`, and `drawRound.wav` are original
offline-generated stingers made for this project: drum membranes, inharmonic
gong modes, and damped plucked strings. No commercial game audio was sampled.
Rebuild these with `web/design/generate-action-fanfare.py`.

## Current opening and yaku swipe — expressive-15

`opening.wav` is a 2.8-second arrangement of **効果音ラボ / Sound Effect Lab**
recordings: 拍子木2 (`hyoushigi2`), 和太鼓でドドン (`drum-japanese2`),
and 琴グリッサンド1 (`koto-glissando1`). Mono mix, level adjustment and tail fade.
The background track pauses during this cue and resumes at the same playhead.

`yakuSwipe.wav` uses 刀の素振り1 (`katana-gesture1`), with mono conversion and
level adjustment. It starts 450 ms after the yaku name appears, with the diagonal swipe.

Terms: https://soundeffect-lab.info/agreement/
These are included as sounds used by the game under the provider's terms,
**not** released as a reusable sound library. Do not redistribute these assets
as a standalone sound pack. Rebuild with `web/design/build-japanese-cues.py`
after the older fanfare generator, which otherwise overwrites `opening.wav`.

`tableTap.wav` is an original 0.32-second damped wood-knock synthesis generated
by the same script. It is not sampled from Hearthstone or another commercial game.
